These terms describe use of Parallax and this website, provided by Hecano LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple license terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the services and remove the app.
Parallax is currently preparing for beta. Features, availability, and compatibility may change while testing continues. These terms do not promise an App Store release date or access to a beta.
A wellness tool, with limits
Parallax provides general wellness information from the data you choose to share. Scores, trends, suggested connections, forecasts, and personal experiment results are estimates. Their usefulness depends on the amount, quality, and timing of the available data.
Parallax is not a medical device, medical service, or emergency-monitoring system. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Its content does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional or establish a clinician–patient relationship. Do not use it as the basis for medical or medication decisions or rely on it for emergency care.
A pattern does not establish that one event caused another. Missing or delayed sensor readings can affect the picture. Personal experiments do not replace professional evaluation or controlled clinical research.
Using Parallax
Parallax is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Use it only on devices and with data that you are authorized to access, in accordance with applicable law and Apple’s platform rules.
You control your device permissions and decide what information to enter or share. Protect your device and consider what personal information is included before sharing an export or support message.
Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse another person’s data, or copy and redistribute protected content beyond the rights granted to you or permitted by law.
Apple’s app license
For versions distributed through Apple’s App Store, the software license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different license is explicitly supplied with that version. These website and service terms do not replace or limit that license.
For TestFlight versions, Apple’s applicable TestFlight terms also apply. Hecano LLC provides Parallax support; Apple does not operate this website or provide support for Parallax’s features.
Apple, Apple Health, Apple Watch, iPhone, and TestFlight are trademarks of Apple Inc. Parallax is an independent product and is not endorsed by Apple.
Privacy and your content
Our privacy policy explains permissions, local storage, website processing, support messages, and deletion. You retain your rights in the information you enter. Using Parallax does not grant us ownership of your health information.
You are responsible for copies of summaries or other content you choose to export. Local app records may not survive app deletion, a device reset, or a move to another device. The current app does not offer a Hecano-hosted backup of your health history.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep Parallax useful and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, a particular health outcome, or compatibility with every data source. Features may depend on supported iOS and watchOS versions, Apple Health permissions, and third-party data arriving on time.
The website does not sell subscriptions or take payments. Any future paid offering will disclose its price and payment terms before purchase. No payment obligation is created merely by visiting this site.
Links to third-party services are provided for convenience. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Your rights and our responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Parallax and the website are provided as available, without additional promises beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Hecano LLC retains rights in the app, brand, and website content, subject to third-party and open-source licenses. You may use the site for its intended informational and support purposes.
You may stop using Parallax at any time. We may change or discontinue features, or restrict misuse where reasonably necessary. Statutory rights and obligations continue to apply.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the product develops. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate and required by applicable law.
